IN-PERSON, OUTDOOR Members of the Stop TB Canada network, our partners, and TB allies, will be gathering at the OTTAWA sign in ByWard market on March 24th to mark World TB Day. There will be two opportunities for IN-PERSON, OUTDOOR gatherings, outlined below. For both events, Results Canada will be providing coffee, hot chocolate, Stop TB signs, and other gifts. You don’t need to confirm in advance, but please just add your name to this list so we know how many people are interested in coming. Location: OTTAWA sign, ByWard Market, Ottawa (6 York St) Morning of Thursday March 24th 9:00am-10:00am ET The Minister of International Development, Honourable Harjit Sajjan will deliver remarks about the importance of ending TB at the OTTAWA sign in the ByWard market. He will be joined by Dr. Lucica Ditiu, the Executive Director of the Stop TB Partnership! Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend this public event to demonstrate to the Minister that Canadians care about ending TB. Evening of Thursday March 24th at 7:00pm ET To stand in solidarity with people affected by TB we will meet for a photo-op, post-ministerial event celebration, and outdoor social at the OTTAWA sign in the ByWard market, which will be lit up in red. Dr. Lucica Ditiu, the Executive Director of the Stop TB Partnership, will share reflections about why this year is a critical year for all of us in the global fight to end TB! Not based is Ottawa?
