The Union and ATS are organizing a webinar series to discuss if the ambitious goals outlined in the WHO End TB Strategy and reinforced by the commitments made at the UN High Level meeting on TB in September 2018 to eliminate TB are, in fact, possible. Prior to the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic, the TB response was falling behind the necessary timeline but in the last year the impact of the COVID-19 on the TB response has set back fight against TB by over a decade, to 2008 levels. This webinar series will examine if TB Elimination is still a relevant goal and if it can be achieved by 2030, as per the WHO End TB strategy and what will be needed to make it happen.
