Together against TB: A World TB Day discussion on taking action to #endTB

Before the pandemic, tuberculosis (TB) was the world’s leading infectious disease killer, despite being both preventable and curable. COVID-19 and associated health system disruptions are proving to be devastating for people affected by TB. This World TB Day (March 24), Stop TB Canada partnered with Results Canada and Partners in Health Canada to host an open discussion with distinguished speakers who will share their valuable experience and insights on how we can work together to take meaningful, high-impact action to end both TB and COVID-19 once and for all.

Featured speakers: Dr. Joia Mukherjee; Priya Amin; Tina Cambpell

Watch a recording of the webinar below, where you can learn:
• how people affected by TB in Canada and around the world are being impacted by the pandemic
• what the associated needs are in terms of TB policies, programs, and resources
• how individuals and communities can take meaningful action by understanding the needs that shape policy and program agendas
