Words Matter: A Stop TB Canada Webinar about Language and Tuberculosis

After the recent publication of “Words Matter”, a flagship communications tool developed by the Stop TB Partnership, let’s dive deeper into the applicability of this language guide and what it means in practice for those living with and working in TB in Canada.


Join Stop TB Canada on Monday July 11th at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EST to learn more about the importance of the words we use when talking about TB. We will discuss the history of stigmatizing language, reflections on appropriate vocabulary and Indigenous perspectives when talking TB in Canada.
