TB Alert, The Union, the Stop TB Partnership and WHO/EURO would like to invite you to participate at the launch event of the new manual from TB Alert, supported by The Union, WHO/EURO and Stop TB Partnership. The launch event will discuss the importance of psychosocial counselling and treatment adherence support for people affected by tuberculosis and how the new guide can support the further integration of right based and gender sensitive psychosocial support into TB programs and building the capacity of those involved in the care of people with TB.

We invite you to join the launch of ‘Psychosocial counselling and treatment adherence support for people affected by tuberculosis’ on Wednesday, April 14th at 11.00-12.30 CET. This event will be an introduction of the new psychosocial counselling technical manual brought to you by the combined efforts of TB Alert, The Union, the World Health Organization EURO (WHO EURO), and the Stop TB Partnership (STBP).

There will be a roundtable discussion which will involve TB survivors and representatives from civil society, national programs and implementing partners with the aim of highlighting how this manual can improve the psychosocial support and care that people with TB receive.
